*Aberdeen Division polices the metropolitan area of Aberdeen, covering the major population areas and business and commercial environs of the city of Aberdeen. The divisional headquarters is located at Queen Street.
*Aberdeenshire is a diverse area which includes large areas of population such as Peterhead and Fraserburgh in the North, to small fishing villages like Johnshaven in the South. The area also includes Royal Deeside, the Grampian Mountains and the Glenshee Ski Resort
*Moray Division is a mainly rural area with the main centres of population in Elgin, Keith, Buckie and Forres. The Division, which is coterminous with Moray Local Authority, enjoys relatively low crime levels and a good quality of life.
