The main communities in Fife are Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Glenrothes, Levenmouth, Cowdenbeath, Cupar and St Andrews. These urban areas provide a full range of retail and service facilities as well as presenting the normal challenges of a modern town such as parking, access, commercial premises etc. In addition to a rich and attractive built environment (with towns and villages such as St Andrews, Culross and Falkland) the physical environment is varied - from popular beaches to open farmland and hill country.
The Esplanade, KirkcaldyFife Constabulary is split into three territorial divisions. Our modern, purpose built Headquarters is located in Glenrothes and Divisional Headquarters are located at Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and Cupar. There are 18 Police Stations distributed across Fife serving all major towns and a number of villages.
